Tradewinds PetroTrade's offering of Pipeline Leak Detection and
Monitoring System (PLDS) and computational pipeline monitoring has
developed into an aspect of our core business. With the advent of countries
desperately trying to secure their pipelines from illegal bunkering or
climate corrosion, leak detection has become a staple of a successful
producing pipeline.
Our Pipeline Leak Detection System is composed of state of the art
remote sensing and signals processing technologies coupled with the
premiere in S.C.A.D.A software to provide our family of customers with
the most accurate and cost-effective method to leak detection. One
question you must ask yourself is "do you want it done?" or "do you want
it done right the first time?". Don't delay.

Our System

Tradewinds PetroTrade’s
solution is based on hydraulic models and integrated with simulation software
with advanced control system simulation features with the embedded application
development language (ADL) for a solution-driven family of hydraulic and
operational analysis tools.
Depending on the type of pipeline needing the
proper leak detection method, Tradewinds PetroTrade is able to provide our
clients with the best possible solution to ensure their pipelines are safe,
reliable and most of all, productive.
Leak detection methods vary from the complex
instrumentation and computer analysis of computational pipeline monitoring (CPM)
systems, to simpler instrumentation and calculations. The method(s) chosen
depend on many factors, some of which include the length and complexity of the
pipeline, the nature of the pipeline’s operation, the nature of the pipeline’s
surroundings and possible exposures, and the product transported in the
pipeline.

Pipeline Remediation,
Repair & Rehabilitation
In the past half decade, the worlds' oil
economy has taken on unprecedented changes due to market momentum, speculation
and civil unrest. With these changes comes growth of industry.
With operators, service companies and National
Oil Companies desperately trying to protect their pipeline assets from climate
corrosion, bunkering attempts and accidental third party interference,
Tradewinds PetroTrade provides the project experience needed to bring your
projects to completion.
Primary Areas of Focus:
Ø
Pipeline Rehabilitation and Repair
Ø
Pipeline Leak Detection and Monitoring
Ø
Asset Integrity Management Programs
Ø
Pipeline Assessment
Ø
Pipeline Construction
Ø
Hazardous Operations Support and Audits
Ø
Pipeline Security and Bunkering Prevention
Tradewinds' presents our capabilities
available to assist National Oil Companies (NOC), their respective subsidiary
companies and the Energy Industry in providing comprehensive pipeline design and
maintenance services.
Through our pipeline project experience, we
believe the primary focus areas listed are the major concerns facing NOC's and
operators alike.
In early 2007, Tradewinds PetroTrade has
created the Tradewinds Technical Group (TTG). The TTG was created
to address some of the lingering issues that face the oil and gas industry
today. With the advent of the O&G industry evolving into a multi-faceted
industry, standardizing on a multilevel approach is necessary.
The
TTG is composed of industry professionals, project management personnel,
pipeline engineers and geologists - all of whom have extensive international
project experience on numerous pipeline rehabilitation, remediation and
construction projects around the globe.
The TTG brings together industry and
regulatory recognized experts that exhibit a proven record of accomplishment
relative to asset integrity management and implementation of large scale
assessment and rehabilitation programs for pipelines, gas and ethylene plants,
oil refineries and storage facilities.
