Web-Based Reporting Package

Tradewinds PetroTrade, via our partner Fidelity Automation & Control Technology, offers an enterprise compatible, universal web-based reporting solution.  The reporting software connects to industry standard data sources (SQL, XML, Oracle, .csv, Access, etc.).  The capability of connecting to multiple data sources allows for report development from many different departments throughout the enterprise, which promotes collaborative operational analysis and decision-making.

OPUS is report writing and business analysis software designed for use by people who need to share information across a network/intranet or over the Internet.  It’s so simple to use that any business person familiar with Microsoft Office can generate meaningful and timely web-reports, without training and in a matter of minutes and doesn’t require major IT support.

OPUS is both powerful and scaleable, providing access to a multitude of simultaneous data sources even in the most complex of enterprise software systems. This package uses standards wherever possible making it a useful tool for anyone wanting to view snapshots of information from almost any Data Source, regardless of the industry in which they function.

Furthermore, OPUS is designed with the latest web-object metaphors to provide business analysis and reporting to anyone.

Alarm Management

Tradewinds PetroTrade provides an OPC client alarm notification and analysis software solution called U.C.Me.  U.C.Me utilizes SMS, WAP, RSS feed, Phone, Fax and E-Mail, to notify users of alarm conditions.  Furthermore, it can also use DDE to provide alarm notification on legacy systems.  Similar in nature to Win911, it can connect to any OPC or DDE server or any SCADA system that supports OPC/DDE connectivity.  U.C.Me supports bi-directional communications via SMS and Phone.  Users may acknowledge alarms, query or change tag values via SMS or phone.

The reports are stored to a report server and are accessible by anyone on the network that has or can provide the proper login credentials.  Reports are configured in a menu driven environment and functions such as Sum, Min, Max, Avg, etc., are developed using a format similar to the function feature of Microsoft Excel.  Once reports are developed, they are published to the report server and can be viewed by anyone on the network.
